rock on


I love this cover. It truly shines light on some facets of the song that mightn't have been apparent before.

Sadly Robert Plant has not reciprocated by singing "Gingerbread Coffin" or anything like that. At least not as far as I know.

I see what you mean - even though I prefer hearing it to looking
at Victorian funeral practices. Maybe I'm a bit squeamish.

We got to see Rasputina at a club in Portland. It was a good show
that I should have enjoyed more but for the fact I drank a glass
of Tanqueray gin (in the mistaken belief I could still drink
alcohol) that made me ill.

Victorian funeral practices are not for everyone, to be sure. Actually that's true of most funeral practices.

I remember you and Jerry telling me about the show. For example how Melora started to leave at the end of the show, but stopped because then she would have had to lug her cello back and forth. Sorry the gin didn't agree with you. Still, now you know you can get a buzz off something more toned down.
