Bless this mess



This is from the installation that Sarah Sze did at the Venice Biennale a couple of years ago. I think what interests/appeals to me about her work is the way it shows the bits and pieces of a life, whose connections are invisible. Only she makes them visible. Anyway, I hope you like.

Oh yes, I did enjoy seeing that. Her work is very spectacular in an odd sort of way. It seems she likes to draw people's attention to the objects that surround us in order we may recognize just how complex is our relationship between the natural and the constructed world. A number of her pieces are truly staggering when examined closely.
