Quick look at Natsumi Hayashi. It's an interesting area she's working in now. Her photos of herself in the air do make her look like she's floating. Not flying exactly, but for a spell immune from gravity. It's a dreamlike feeling, a transformation of full-color reality into a dream state.

They are some very neat images. There are a couple where she might have jumped at that key instant but mostly no. Do you suppose she's really good at photoshop?
Oops, okay, before I'd just looked at the images and her gallery. Now I've read the article I see she does jump.. a lot. Amazing.
Certainly it is amazing that she appears as a clear figure, not as a blurry downward line. And also just the fact that she came up with this as a continuing project.
