Poltergeist

We're getting some rain tonight, but what really stands out are the strong winds. So strong, in fact that my bedroom door is being slammed shut, then opened again, then slammed again, all without me touching it. The noise was startling at first. Then I decided it was cool as long as it didn't bother the neighbors. Knock on wood.

Heh.. knock on wood. I think I would have been up folding a piece of cardboard to stop the door moving. Once I'm asleep it takes a lot to wake me but there are things that will prevent me from falling asleep.

I wanted to tell you that the Sopranos was very good for the first two seasons (and maybe the third) but as it went on the show became much more formulaic.. never mind characters doing out of character things in order to make plot points. Too many writers, we think.

So are you doing anything interesting during the day?

It's handy to have a piece of cardboard around, at least, in case you need to keep something in place like that. Didn't turn out to be necessary as far as getting to/staying asleep, anyway. I generally sleep with my bedroom door closed, even though I live alone, and it stayed closed.

It's not too unusual for a show to lose its way as it goes on. In the case of The Sopranos the producer might have been as surprised as anyone he got that far. Anyway, I'll be sure to start at the beginning.

Not much going on during the day now, but I will be in touch soon with news.
