What's surreal today?

This little stop motion film brings the whimsy. I don't know that it looks like the work of Rene Magritte, but I like to think he'd approve of it. Spiritual kinship, you know.

Yes, this was pretty surreal all right. Magritte may well have liked the idea of being represented in a bizarre little cartoon but I'm betting the cartoonist can't counterfeit currency that would fool anybody.

That's something I didn't know about Magritte. Guess he was a handy guy to have around. Most filmmakers don't really have counterfeiting expertise, but you never know.
