I have another art post coming up pretty soon. It should be pretty interesting, or so I hope. I just have to make sure I have the picture files. Doesn't take long to download them, of course. I just didn't know if I already had them or not. My tendency is to just grab stuff under its original file name and store it wherever, which can make things hard to find.

I know what you mean about just how easily lost are picture files. What I usually do is save the ones I'm collecting for a particular project to my desktop and then open a new folder for them. When I've finished using them it's easy to trash the folder. Of course I could just save them to a folder to begin with but I never think of that first.
Meanwhile, I'll be looking forward to your new post.
My own needs are pretty simple on that front. Sometimes it will be helpful for me to have a lasting reference at hand. Other times it's just something I need for the moment. That's why I don't make too many folders. Actually there are lots of things I could get rid of right now, but haven't gotten around to it.
