I played cards tonight with a friend who'd woken up at 1:30 AM and been up ever since, except for a short catnap. Understandably made him a bit cranky. Well, actually, that's sort of his thing.

If those are Smiths lyrics you're right they match up well with Charlie Brown. They do make the pictures even sadder, don't they?
Yes, I would say they're alien in source, but quite kindred in feeling.
