Well how about that? Late this afternoon and this evening, genuine New England snow. Quite a bit of it too, accompanied by high winds. Touch wood, maybe this will be a break for our nation's maple syrup industry.
And in fact the snow was gone in about a day. That's sort of what I expected for this time of year too. Best of luck to our neighbors in Vermont, though.

It's far too early for snow to stay but I have to hope along with you the maple syrup farmers have a better winter.
