Icy hands

I carry a pair of good winter gloves in my coat. Just for emergencies really. I haven't worn them, or hardly at all, all winter.

Until today. Definitely had to warm up my digits during a longer than expected wait for the bus, and wound up wearing them until it came.

And it's the day after Saint Patrick's Day. Winter is putting up a fight. Impressive and kind of cool. No pun intended.

It's been unusually cold here too and feels all the worse after that remarkably warm February. I'm not entirely trusting of weather forecasts but ours has been predicting a few weeks more of the same.

Back in February there was news that the polar vortex had split and that some crazy weather would ensue. Better keep those gloves handy a bit longer.

Yeah, it's been a crazy winter overall. Winter and early spring? We definitely have had some cold, slightly snowy days since the equinox. I'm fine with it. Hope you and Jerry have been relatively comfortable.
