Another non-YouTube video incoming, with this being the link. It's from (pretty sure from the name) a Polish animator. It's a study in contrasts. The magician figure is, if not realistic, at least pretty well detailed. Other characters are stylized to the point of all-out abstraction, and sometimes past it.
Look for a brief but unmistakable Devo reference.

I can't claim much admiration for Picasso but I liked that one because it's somewhat reminiscent of his style. The illustrations were elegant and the message about giving people what they want and then having them want even more was very nicely done. The Devo flowerpot hat made me smile.
I would bet you're right in there being some Picasso influence in there. Some of it is even more abstract than he was generally known to get. For the most part you can get in trouble if you can't give people enough of what they want. The magician seemed to be in control of it, though. Yeah, I noticed the flowerpot hat right away and figured you would too.
