Panic! America!

From a leader at Liz Cheney's prom committee comes some alarming news.

Cheney declined to speak with POLITICO, but Keep America Safe Executive Director Aaron Harison said, “The American people have a right to know who in the Department of Justice is setting policy regarding detention of terrorists and related national security issues.”

“Did officials now appointed to make key decisions of national security previously take legal or policy positions at odds with their current responsibilities? Lawyers in private practice have the right to volunteer ‘pro bono’ to defend terrorists,” he added. “However, membership in the legal profession does not immunize a person from questions or criticism of their prior actions. The American people have the right to know if the same lawyers who have previously taken public positions at odds with U.S. policy are now in charge of that policy.”

So, if I'm following along correctly, there are people in government who used to say and do different stuff back when they had different jobs. Yes, I had to lie down as well

The burn in Hell form letter

To accentuate the positive, this op-ed does imply in its last paragraph that homosexuals love dogs. Which is true. If you're going on vacation, leave Fido with the most stable m/m couple you know and he'll get the care of a lifetime.

Other than that, it's notable that Catholic Andrew Sullivan is appalled to see Donohue's ravings in the Post. Sullivan is gay but also a huge pro-lifer, and was pretty allied with the right wing until recently.

The assumption seems to be that being a person of faith means loathing everyone outside your neighborhood watch group. To be fair, Christ did say something about throwing the first stone. Something like, "For the love of Dad, throw the first stone already." What, that wasn't it?

Aw, who smoked all the crack?

This is as big as I can get the image. The quality of the drawing is actually pretty good. And it shows us that teacher's ed faculty are indoctrinating young teachers into Marxist ideology so that those teachers can go out and further produce a bunch of commie kids. All of this is very disturbing, and I'm glad I don't live on the planet where it's happening.

No indeed. All the teachers I know have their hands full trying to get students to come to class, to not get pregnant, to not get a real suspension for talking about an imaginary gun. And some education does go on here. But if any of my teacher friends heard glorious tales about Mrs Schwartzman's days in the Red Brigades, those stories are all but forgotten. Sorry.
