Something to be said about Henson and Oz. Very few creators can take credit for a character as striking and rich as cookie monster. I mean, when he appears on-screen, you just know.

I agree Henson and Oz were geniuses. One of my fondest memories was when we went with you to the Boston Children's Museum to see 'The Art of the Muppets'.
Interesting also that the melody is very similar to the original but exchanging ascending notes for descending ones.
Oh yeah, I feel lucky to have gone to that exhibit with you at the BCM. And the link has a treasure trove of Muppet material. Kinda funny that those old newspaper photos now look like Weegee took them.
