So, fairly big Labor Day weekend coming up in that I'll be attending the wedding of a good friend. He is or will be the first person of whom I can say I saw him get married twice. Should be a pretty festive occasion as the happy couple are getting married at an outdoor music festival. Which is, like, right up there with a miniature golf course?

Are they having it at a music festival because that's the only way they could convince their kids to go? Whatever the reason, I hope it's fine weather and a fine time for all the participants - including you. Many congratulations to the happy couple.
Both of them were fond of going down to New Orleans for the Jazz and Heritage Festival and this was the closest local equivalent. Their kids were open to the idea but weren't behind it. As for me I wound up getting there well after the ceremony had ended. It's one of those funny stories that aren't really funny at the time, and I'll have to tell you about it sometime.
