The above picture is by Adam Simpson He's a British illustrator from what I understand. I just got a book from the library, Charles Yu's How to Live Safely in a Science Fictional Universe, that I'm going to start reading tomorrow. The cover is painted by Simpson. Just an array of ray guns, but as you see, he's got a certain style.

After reading a brief synopsis of How to Live Safely in a Science Fictional Universe I can well understand how it is that Adam Simpson came to be the cover illustrator. Let me just say I'm glad I'm not the mother stuck in a one hour time loop making dinner over and over again. It makes me tired thinking about it.
Interesting book. The mother making dinner over and over doesn't know she's in a time loop, or at least not most of the time. That might make her less apt to get tired. Or not, it's hard to figure some aspects out.
