Schroederific

One question that has been asked many times over the ages is, "Can you play jazz on a toy piano?" I decided to investigate on YouTube. This couple-minute video is actually pretty encouraging on the topic.

I also confirmed that some of my recommended videos are things like "The life and sad end of X" where X is a person who's still alive. AI obituaries, gotta love 'em.

I must be behind the times because I hadn't thought of asking that question, at least not recently. The musical piece was very nice and that's a perfect Schroeder piano. I can almost see Lucy swooning.

I didn't know about AI obituaries either but I did find an amusing one:

Brenda Tent retired from living at the age of old, surrounded by family and natural causes. A librarian from birth, Brenda was an avid collector of dust. She had a sweet heart and married her high school. She loved having hobbies and helping her sons to be disadvantaged youths. She had no horses but thought she did. The church gave her a choir because she sang like bird and looked like bird and Brenda was a bird. She owed us so many poems.

The funeral will be held in 1977 at heaven. In lieu of flowers, send Brenda more life.

Well I guess I just assumed the question had been asked numerous times. If it hasn't now it will be in the future. Thankfully I have my answer. Poor Schroeder always had to deal with the distraction of Lucy reclining on his piano. Poor Lucy never distracted him in the way she meant to.

That obituary is a thing of beauty. "In lieu of flowers, send Brenda more life"? Evidently the AI's limited experience has led it to believe she's a video game character.
