I've been curious about what Mynah birds are like. There are a few birds that can mimic human speech, including some ravens. This Mynah is very distinct from parrots in terms of voice, appearance, and movement. Does have the skills, though. And seems to be a pretty good pet, for someone who's into it.

I'm pretty sure owning one would be a tricky business. How
would you convince it to be quiet?
Is a cute little turn of phrase, is it not? For people who keep birds as pets--at least a lot of kinds--I could see it being an adjustment. Do you keep them in a soundproofed room? Or do you just get used to the occasional night squawk?
