That's a TV Tropes-ism of course, but it fits this mixture of claymation and live action, the impression I get from it. Despite the absurdity of the ending, or maybe enhanced by it.

It certainly held my attention all the way through - and I liked it.

They keep predicting a storm here but we haven't had one yet. Good
you were comfy and dry inside.
It is neat animation. The switch to live-action in the middle is kind of a surprise, which I guess is the point.
From what I understand they were predicting a big storm yesterday/last night as well. Didn't happen. Must have headed out to sea. I hope you've been comfortable as well.
