Box spring

Okay, so I'm given to understand that there are people who sleep in coffins. But that's a pretty major purchase. Like, the Walmart site lists their coffins as being almost $900, and if you're a coffin sleeper you'll probably go for something classy and bespoke. So will you use this same coffin for, you know, afterward? Or do you have to go ahead and purchase a second coffin for the more customary use? This level of gothness is not an option for everyone, obviously.

As George Carlin said, these are the thoughts that kept me out of the good schools.

You reminded me of this guy. I think Criswell set a trend in late night horror tv shows being introduced by a guy rising from a coffin. I read that one reason Ed Wood liked the mad fellow was that he owned his own coffin and liked to sleep in it between takes. But I'm not sure if that was was his final resting place.

Say what you like about him, but Ed Wood surrounded himself with an interesting crowd. Criswell appears to have been a radio announcer who started the oracle-type business to amuse himself. He had a good radio voice at any rate. And perhaps some idiosyncratic tastes.
