Bob and Ray will always be funny as long as there are people willing and able to slow down and listen. Which is actually a precarious situation, but we have to hope.
Magicians, of course, work their illusions by distracting you from what they're doing. Penn and Teller purport to lay all this bare by explicating their tricks in advance. And yet. The comical violence winds up distracting you even still. That's what's so damnably clever about them.
