The hum of the Friday Random Ten

One thing about night, late at night, when it's a little windy outside. You can lie down or even stand and listen, the few cars passing on the street blending in with the wind. It's kind of peaceful.

1. Beck - Blackbird Chain
2. Fleetwood Mac - Same Old Way
3. Ernie K-Doe - A Certain Girl
4. Metric - Clone
5. Rasputina - My Orphanage
6. The Who - Our Love Was
7. Sun Ra - Tapestry from an Asteroid
8. Elvis Costello & the Attractions - Clubland
9. Fitz & the Tantrums - Break the Walls
10. Diana Krall - Devil May Care

i too enjoy the pleasure of listening to the winter winds howl, while warm & snuggly beneath my blanket. &, speaking of them 'winter winds:

'ain't a fit night out for man nor beast...'

also: highly, highly recommend 'the drop', a movie starring the guy who was bane in 'dark knight rise' & the girl who was lisbeth in the original version of 'girl with the dragon tattoo'... oh, & james gandolfini, too. a genuine gem :) ...

Firesign Theatre were right. WC Fields forever!

I remember reading reviews of "The Drop" when it first came out, then nothing. It never opened in RI, I'm pretty sure. One of those growing number of movies that the studios don't know what to do with, I suspect. Curious about this one, though. Tom Hardy was a great presence in "Inception".
