I just created a Craigslist account tonight in order to put up an ad in "housing wanted." It's not a site you hear that much about anymore, outside of police blotters.
Oh well, I never claimed to be a first adapter.

I still wouldn't trust that place. You might be better off checking padmapper for the area you're interested in.

I'm mainly trying to avoid false starts and timewasters. A lot of landlords seem to keep ads up for weeks after all their properties have been rented. Padmapper actually does look interesting. I think I'll try some of the numbers I turn up on it.
