That was a very nice song by an old band I'd never even heard of. It appears their career began at about the same time we stopped listening to pop music so I guess that's no surprise. I especially liked the video. I remember my Dad telling me that on very foggy days he'd drive very slowly while the conductor felt for the curb.
I hope you're having a good Christmas. We've avoided the music too - except at the grocery store.
You know, it took me a few reads before I really got what you said about Grandad and his bus. I'm sure the conductor was very glad of his going slow!
This was a good band, I think. Very British, and despite the same they were from the North.
And I don't hate Christmas music. Not on principle. Let's just say that it varies in quality. And I've been through some seesaws this season.
And of course I hope you had a happy Christmas too. In whatever way you most enjoy it.
