Sad and kind of strange that just a couple of months after the death of Nicholas "the Brigadier" Courtney dies, Lis Sladen should also pass on. Both worked with Jon Pertwee's doctor, and Tom Baker inherited relationships with both of them. So it must be kind of hard for him.

We re-watched the Tom Baker Dr. Who series a couple of years ago. He was somewhat more obnoxious than I'd remembered but Sarah Jane was quite sweet - plucky, even. I'm sorry she's passed away and hope the tardis was standing by to pick her up.
The obnoxiousness is sort of part of his mystique, from what I understand. But that is a nice wish.
