I'd thought Amway was extinct. You made a wise move.
Whether this was the actual Amway, it was some kind of free-floating talk about a bunch of miracle products.
I actually did sit through a pitch from the real thing once. It was in college. I wasn't the target, so to speak, but a guy I knew was listening to the spiel and a couple of us others went along. It was all about the glory of selling products in your everyday life. We got out just before I was driven to hurt myself or someone else.
