Good shepherd

This short, created through stop motion, is really lovely. It's a work of brevity, simplicity, and just the right amount of tenderness. Always a nice surprise to see something like this has been made.

Turns out I can still post videos on the blog, although the way to do that has changed a little. Well, YouTube videos. Still rankles a little that I can't do the same with, say, Vimeo, but what can you do?

You're right the Lost Sheep is consistent in all its elements and quite quite wonderful. The shepherd reminded me of Don Quixote, not in his actions but in appearance. I've added it to my permanent bookmarks.

Everything including open video seems to be getting less easily available as days go by. Youtube has become more insistent in waging war on adblockers and Vimeo has long been a boutique space.

I'm happy you were able to post this one.

I'm glad that you enjoyed the film, as I had an idea you would. Yes, there is a marked resemblance between the shepherd and Don Quixote. Whether that was intentional I don't know. Might be one of those unconscious things.

The internet has become much more monopolistic and in some ways I think we should have always expected that. Most didn't. The fact that they try to sabotage adblockers doesn't surprise me either.

I'll be on the lookout for more good stuff, anyway.
