Ready Freddie

Queen - Crazy Little Thing Called Love (Saturday Night Live, 1982) from Queen Poland on Vimeo.

I'll probably do a post addressing the elephant in the room in a couple of days. Said elephant has a  lot to unpack, though.

In the meantime there's this fine performance. Something I've never realized before is just how tall and skinny Brian May is. Like, I bet his body weight is 80% limb.

Great song and nice to see an old performance. When you mentioned Brian May being tall and skinny the first other one I thought of was Ric Ocasek. Somebody once described him as looking like an upside down exclamation mark.

Ah yes, the elephant in the room is dancing with the bull in the china shop. What worries us is not the virus so much as the hysteria - like the ultimate social disease. Will be interested to hear your thoughts either here or directly.

There's certainly hysteria, along with other not-so-nice aspects of humanity surfacing. Pandemics added to a propagandistic media, well, that's always trouble.

It is a great performance, from the early eighties, the only time they played on Saturday Night Live. "Upside down exclamation mark" is a great phrase. Also might describe Joey Ramone.
