Earthy Friday Random Ten
One of the bus stops in the Rochambeau section of the East Side is a minimalist shelter where the "benches" are basically shaped boulders. Today I heard a couple of commuters voice their disapproval of having rocks to sit on. I think it's kind of a cool idea. Guess you can't please everyone.

It's gone now but apparently there was a large rock outside one of the local restaurants that was claimed to be an accurate predictor of the weather. If it was wet, it was raining; if it was dry, it was sunny; if it was white, it was snowing; if it was invisible, it was foggy. I rather like the idea of a rock for a bench.
Nice to be reminded of Ladytron - they haven't appeared on our shuffle for a while.
I love that story about the local rock. Although if it were white I'd think that could also mean someone dropped a bag of flour.
Ladytron always bring a little extra something.
