The silver lining is that the search term indirectly led me to this subreddit of people posting their pet rabbits. Which I'm guessing have been more accommodated than domesticated. In any event, everyone looks to be happy.

Ears up
Seeing as we're on the eve of a holiday with a bunny mascot, I just searched for "rabbits playing jazz." The idea popped into my head. Funny bunny rabbits playing sax and standup bass and the like. I don't know what I was thinking. Jim Henson could have done something with the idea, but he's long gone. In 2026, you can imagine what a video answering to that description would probably be like.

This afternoon I learned that if you're looking to have an overdose of cuteness try checking out bunny videos and you'll find yourself with a surfeit. Bunnies playing sax and standup base are like looking for hen's teeth but I did find a piano playing bunny - he's good as well as looking very elegant in his tuxedo:

Did you ever hear of the Flemish Giant rabbit? Best not to search for videos of them unless you're a glutton for soppiness:

That was, if I'm not mistaken, one of the Chuck Jones shorts. That concert hall that seems to stretch into infinity feels like his work. Interesting to see Bugs in more of the Elmer/Yosemite predator role. Hey, can't assume solidarity between rodents and lagomorphs. All in all a very neat 'toon.
Pretty wild seeing the Flemish giant rabbit sleeping next to a dog and they're the same size. Okay, the dog is a sheltie. Still. Seems to make a good family pet.
