Slick

Getting ready to go out and face the world again. It snowed last night, but not nearly as much as last night. What happened during the day was that it continued to rain from Thursday, only with much lower temperatures. This led to some slightly treacherous sidewalks, and one intersection where I couldn't get a walk signal because the button was frozen solid. So that kind of thing is more of a concern for me.

Also, may be mailing out a story today. Basically just need to get the formatting done.

You surely have our sympathy especially in consideration of the fact we know all too well what it's like trying to get around a town when it's both snowy and icy. Hopefully, the roads and sidewalks have been mostly cleared and, better still, that warmer weather will come along soon.

We watched a pretty amazing little twitter video this morning that shows scenes from the Ottawa truckers protest along with commentary by our fearful leader.

Try to stay warm.

Funny you should say that. The snow was melted over a warm spell of a few days. Then we got another snowstorm--not quite as the one we'd gotten before--starting on Super Bowl Sunday and ending Valentine's Day. Now that's been melted away and washed away by a rainstorm. Not sure if we'll get another snowstorm this month or March but it wouldn't surprise me.

JT's speeches are ridiculous enough on their own. Add the visuals and, well...
