Nasal displacement

In one of those transitions that come a couple of times per year, it's allergy season again. The symptoms came upon me around dusk and haven't proven very amenable to medication. The one thing that does seem to work is lying down, so I'm about to take the hint.

Wonder if the frustration of waiting for a bus that skipped a whole route affected things. I could have gotten home quicker by walking, but I didn't know that at the time.

I've been very lucky in having avoided allergies for the most part - with the odd exception of having 'out of the blue' sneezing episodes now and again (I generally carry a tissue just in case). At the same time I do know just how debilitating they can be by having lived with someone who has been subject to severe allergies and it's true of him too that often the only cure seems to be relaxation or, in worst cases, an overnight sleep.

Since allergies are known to cause fatigue it makes sense that stress can bring on an allergic reaction. I just found an article that corroborates your idea.

I hope you feel better fast.

I'm glad you've mostly been spared. Nanna I remember as having some kind of severe ones. Mine come and go. You're right that relaxing does help. The article does back that up. I mean, medicine is a "results may vary" area and I think people forget that, but it does seem like a good rule of thumb.

Yeah, it's getting better, I think. It's just one of those things you might go through a couple of times per year.
