Huh. Huh.

This evening while waiting for a bus I saw a kid - under 25, maybe a lot under - wearing a The The t-shirt. Which surprised me in a way that seeing young folks wearing Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin gear. I mean, The The never really broke through to the mainstream. But I respect those who go deep, so here's to 'em.

The The was one of those 80s bands we missed but there was a lot of music going on then and you can't catch everything. The song you've posted was interesting. I understand one of Johnson's latest is called Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven But Nobody Wants To Die. A logical statement.

So far as I recall Jer has just two band t-shirts, Prince 2004ever anda Residents one. Other than those most of his are games related, classic ones at this point, that have instigtated a number of casual conversations.

Mine don't say anything.

This song I remember from a radio station I used to listen to years ago. I don't think I'd actually known the title, which doesn't seem to appear in the lyrics. But yes, there are all sorts of goals people would like to achieve, but they don't like the idea of that difficult middle step. Hell, I'm like that too.

It's nice if your t-shirt or something else you wear can start a conversation. Although I might have trouble keeping it going.
