Germ of an idea

Some tentative good news. If they were trying to make hantavirus the new COVID, it doesn't look to be working. It is a nasty disease to those who get it, but it's not a credible pandemic. And I think for much of the population there's a feeling of "fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me." Maybe I'm wrong, but I hope not.

There's some irony in me writing this post while sick. It's just some kind of cold, though. I'm hoping to send it packing within a couple of days.

The powers that be like to keep the rest of us confused and afraid lest we discover the main benefit goes to them and keeping them in power. What we know about the hantavirus is that it's not very contagious or easily spread. The people it does infect usually experience an illness that clears up on its own. Dr. Tedros Whatever is director general of the WHO is not a doctor but does like pandemics or rumors of pandemics. Just yesterday another cruise ship was temporarily denied landing at a port in France because some cases of novovirus had been reported - another illness most people get over on their own in a couple of days.

By the time you reply to this one I'll be hoping you're well recovered.
