If Brian Eno was going to sing a Beatles song, perhaps it's inevitable this would be the one. Either that or "Octopus's Garden." Maybe that one will surface eventually.
He was prolific right from the beginning. I really loved listening to Eno's 1970s albums. He was good afterwards too but Taking Tiger Mountain and Here Come the Warm Jets were amazing records.
Oh, no doubt. His time in Roxy Music seemed to whet his appetite for creative expression without entirely satisfying it, hence his getting fired. Then he came out blazing.
