Charcoal is a messy medium, as you can tell if you've ever drawn with it and then looked at your hands. For that reason it's an interesting choice for animation, especially in the pixel era.
Glad these people got through their subway ride all right. Have to admit, I was a little worried someone might throw themselves on the tracks.

Charcoal is definitely messy. You have to spray finished pieces with fixative if you want to keep them for a while. She did a wonderful job on this one as everything moves beautifully from frame to frame.
I was hoping they might decide to go somewhere together.
Good point(er) about the fixative. Especially crucial in something serial like animation, assuming you don't just want a grey blur.
Maybe that's for the sequel?
