This morning when I left for work it was coolish and rainy, necessitating boots, an umbrella, and a heavier jacket. When I was on my way home the jacket felt suffocating with the day's warmth and the boots and umbrella were relics. The great guessing game has begun.

It's definitely that time of year when you can't count on the day's weather being stable. Soon it will be better.
Nice FR10 (as always) I love Mose Allison's voice and Ray Davies' too. The Elvis Costello song is a true classic.
Well, the thaw we're having from winter to spring is slow and gradual, with from what I hear some flurries early one morning last week. I actually prefer that to balmy weather right away when spring begins.
That is a great song. The Mose Allison number is actually one of his instrumentals. There's an album he did in the late fifties that's mostly instrumental jazz. He wears it pretty well.
