Furry fellows
Just sort of came across this. And that's probably the best way to encounter these sculptures which resemble cartoons from the New Yorker say forty years ago. The element of surprise helps them. I don't know what the hardened gallery goer will say about them, but it seem like the kind of thing kids'll love.

They really do resemble the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, don't they? I was surprised the artist didn't give Gilbert Shelton some credit.
Credit for Gilbert Shelton is always a good thing. People need to pay attention to the man. He's originally from Houston, TX, and I think that city should erect a Fat Freddie statue in the town square.
