Always on the lookout here for good animation and puppet clips, so Puppetoon stuff is a natural winner. But this one is right off the charts. It's George Pal's Tubby the Tuba, from 1947.
That's got to be one of the most charming pieces of film ever put together. And credit where credit is due, YouTube user videos4everyone did a fine job putting it on the site.
Being a tuba needn't be a source of shame. Something to remember.

Ah well, I came back later to have a look at this one but I see it's been removed by youtube because of a copyright claim. Damn good thing the Shakespeare family never got caught up in that nonsense.
Huh. When I saw it was up I figured Paramount had either let it slip into public domain or otherwise gone slack on the copyright. Apparently not. I'm sorry you didn't get to see it. Keep an eye out for "The Puppetoon Movie" cause I think it's on that.
