I'm sure I've stated my love for Gahan Wilson before, but just for the record, I love Gahan Wilson. This elderly couple, you may or may not like them, but you've got to believe them. They're just right.
And way to get maximum value out of a literalized metaphor.

Some people looked at Playboy for the pictures while others professed to enjoy the written articles. Then there were those of us who simply wanted to see Gahan Wilson's latest. He's always been a master of visualizing metaphors.
Playboy, National Lampoon, and The New Yorker have all shown fine judgment in availing themselves of Wilson's talents. His Nuts book was masterful as well.
Never met a phor I didn't like.
